It’s about that time I need to start wrapping everything up and assemble my portfolio. I just finished my surprise illustration that will be featured in my portfolio book. I won’t fully reveal it just yet since some of you will see it at the portfolio review show (I hope). Here’s another snippet of the piece. This was super fun to do but there’s so much more I have to finish up. Workworkwork!!!

There’s so much to do before I graduate I’m going crazy. It’s about that time I stop sleeping, drink coffee and red bull and pull all-nighters so I can get stuff done. Earlier this year in design class, we were asked to make poster’s for a local event. I chose to make one for the Enzian Theatre. I sketched about 50 thumbnails but I narrowed it to 3 ideas. After much critique, this design turned out to be the favorite, so I continued to work with it in Illustrator. I tried many color combinations but this one was the most eye catching by far and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I’ve been meaning to contact them to see if they might want to use it but I haven’t exactly gotten around to it… Well, Enjoy! :]
