Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies :) Made this card doodle for my mom and made it the background/screensaver on her Nook so she never forgets. :p
sorry for this blah doodle. needed to distract myself today so i did this “what’s in your bag” meme that’s been going around again.
I thought I’d try this hourly comic day thing for at least some of the day. I abandoned all knowledge of anatomy, perspective, consistency and basic drawing skills. It was awesome.
And no, I’m not usually that smiley while I create cute and squishy decals for nurseries… that smile fades after a few minutes as tiredness sets in. I’m more like the third slide for the rest of the day. Coffee just doesn’t have the same affect on me anymore. I’m immune to caffeine D:
Doodle I did of the adorable Crissey while on my lunch break yesterday. Going to try to doodle something quick everyday on my lunch break since I’m too tired/lazy once I get home :p I miss doodling in Photohsop and I don’t want to forget how to draw everything other than vectors ha. Practice, practice, practice!
quick sketch for a customer’s custom decal of her daughter swinging from a tree. this was a fun one to create and the girl was so adorable! so happy the customer liked it ^^
i’m thinking i might color this in later for fun.
I’m really sad I’m not in the mood to draw on my own time anymore. Work is so tiring. I love what I do because I pretty much get to draw all day which is really awesome but I do miss drawing for me. I really want to work on my comic and so much more. I need to find a way to make time. I just read Cucumber Quest by Gigi and have been following the folks at Drawed Goods and they’ve been really inspiring. I think it’s time to take my iMac out of it’s box and get down to business. For now, here’s a doodle of a random wolf girl.
Super busy with work and other things so my comic will have to wait. So here’s one of the doodles I did for a friend’s zine. I’ll post the other one when he releases it :)
i had the doodle of this sitting in my sketchbook ever since nina reblogged some awesome illustrations of sailor moon. i loved this look. i’m not sure if i colored her accurately because i couldn’t find the picture again :/
anyway, thought i’d use it to practice more wobbly fun gifs.
oh! and i so need to get the re-released manga! and sailor v too! so happy! i looked everywhere for the originals and could not find them. need to order them now!
