I had to create a typeface this passed quarter and I named it The Incredible Circus because it reminded me of those old circus posters. (We had to choose and object and use it as inspiration to create a typeface. Out of 5 rough samples I created this is the one that was chosen. The object was an old skeleton key.) I don’t particularly like the circus since I don’t like how they use their animals but these are happy animals so it’s ok. So I don’t totally love the type treatment within the ring but showing the typeface was a requirement. This was really just an excuse to draw cute animals and awesome ribbons which I’m currently obsessed with :)
